Artful Ebony (black) 2001 (AQHA/APHA/LFG)
Pedigree Information |
We are privileged to be the new home of Artful
Ebony, son of world champion Artful Move (Sire of 2003 AQHA World Show Superhorse MOVIN ARTFULLY at four years of age), Bred by master horseman, Vince
Fister.
Artful Ebony is a unique blend of two of the most
potent producing families in the Mid West.
By the great siring champion Artful Move and from the great mare family
of Bett Gold.
For the hunter disciplines there are champions and champion producers
both top and bottom. |
For the racing and contest, this colt traces twice to Man O' War through
his sire. His Dam carries the speed of Bulldog and Bolero. This produces
stamina and soundness which is found in many All American winners and
champions, as well as the legendary Rocket Bar
(the grand sire of Dash For Cash.) He is the ideal cross on speedy TB's
and Leaders Luck or the Bold Ruler bred crosses such as Lucks Chick Gay,
etc. |
|
|
Artful Ebony has spent his three year old year in working hunter
training and shows the
willingness to please and learn. He is amazingly agile with great
lateral moves as well.
His powerful hind quarters and his long slanted shoulder enable him
to handle the long stride needed for the fences. He has a pleasing
disposition and has been worked over fences with a 13 year old youth
rider. His ability to switch leads smoothly and his long powerful
stride
makes him a good sire prospect for contest horses of all kinds. |

Skips Lash, 2000 Sorel LFG $350
Pedigree Information
Live Cover Available |
| "Lash" is a very correct horse with an incredible
up-close, line-bred SKIPPER W pedigree. He has just enough Thoroughbred
to keep leg on his foals and add a dash of refinement. This is his first
year standing to outside mares. |
|
Skips Lash has
been producing very beautiful, easy to train and
willing horses. His foals are eager workers. One of
his foals, turning three in March, owned by a junior
who started him herself, is proving to be very
versatile. He also has a three-year-old daughter
started under saddle by a junior and first time
horse owner. His coming four-year-old dun son is
showing great proficiency for Reining. |
|
|
Lash is considered "small" in
stature; about cutting size. Genetics prove that
closely line-bred horses are smaller in height. Lash
stands 15 Hh. Crossed on 15 Hh mares he has produced
several 16 Hh horses. He is out of a gray mare from
a long line of duns and palominos. His sire (SKIP'S
IMAGE 1973) stood 16 Hh and his dam is 15.1 Hh. As a
"Skipper W" horse, he crosses well with all
bloodlines, including Thoroughbred mares. He has
great talent and thinks about what is required of
him and passes that intelligence to his get. He has
cow sense and trail sense. He is equally talented in
the movements for Dressage and Reining. |
|
|
|
Lash sons and daughters use their hind ends well,
are thinkers and quick learners. They are willing
workers and "ask" for a job. Lash has only shown
once in Dressage, since most of the schooling shows
we attend do not allow stallions. |
|
Excellent shipped semen. Collection and shipping rates are $275. All
shipments are Federal Express from Benton, KY with 24 hours notice
due. Multiple mare and repeat discounts. LFG. |
